Goddamn Supposedly Liberal Washington State
Washington State does not have an income tax. A proposal to tax people who make (not earn) $1 million or more a year was defeated by people who make $10,000 a year. Meanwhile, supposedly liberal Washington State is trying to balance its budget by increasing the fare charged to disabled riders by 33%.
