Congress: The New Scrooges
As the 535 Scrooges left D.C. to stuff themselves with Christmas dinner they are cutting off unemployment benefits to millions of Americans. How bad is unemployment? After all, the unemployment rate is down from 9% to 7%. Green shoots! Things are getting better. Tell that to the new six million unemployed since the rate went down by 2 points.
