More historical revisionism by the Bush Administration

Dr. NeoConJob Rice spins that the German occupation was as messy as the Iraq occupation. Even Slate sees through that lie.

More looting by the Bush Administration

Dubya's buddies are going to write the Iraqi laws about how the Liar 'n' Thief gets to lowball ownership of Iraqi oil. The war wasn't about oil. The war was about making Dubya owner of Iraq's oil. Are there no decent Democrats and Republicans to help stand up against this criminal? He should be impeached immediately and sent to Belgium to stand trial for war crimes. His family should pay for the removal of all of the depleted uranium in Iraq and Afghanistan and I know a place near Crawford, TX that could be converted into a hazardous waste site to hold that DU.

Rebuilding Iraq

I think if we pay Bush and Cheney's company, Halliburton, tens of billions of dollars we will continue to end up with shoddy work and Iraqis wanting to blow the results up. However, America has a responsibility to fix the mess George Bush, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, and Condoleeza Rice created in our names (thanks to weak Bush Lite DLC "leadership" in Congress) and it has occurred to me that Iraqis will do a better job cheaper than Bush's favorite company, Halliburton. Iraqis delivered electricity to Baghdad before the great white savior showed up why not after? Maybe we can hire them for our own grid problems...

Yikes! All is explained now!

Buzzflash has an editorial about how Bush has classic symptoms of bipolar disorder.
This diagnosis, of course, unlike Chemical Ali, doesn't bring the hundreds of American soldiers back to life or the tens of thousands of Iraqis back to life.

I don't know about you, but I feel better when my tax dollars are spent educating 14 year olds rather than killing them.

Today's quiz - the difference between a PNAC and a DLC?

Who gets to cash the check.

US offers to share deaths and costs with countries that opposed the war

However, it appears that Cheney's and Bush's company, Halliburton, will continue to get no bid contracts and first dibs on the billions more necessary to repair the damage Bush's oil grab has wreaked. Bremer says billions of dollars.. The cynic in me thinks billions if we continue to give it to Halliburton. Probably hundreds of millions if the Iraqis rebuilt it themselves.

Resident Bush ordered EPA to lie

Big surprise there. New York air after Bush's 9/11 failings was poisonous. Bush ordered the EPA to say is was a-ok, mission accomplished air. But hey! They are mostly Democrats and Log Cabin Republicans in New York so who cares?

What darn good intelligence really sounds like

Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity has a very compelling memo explaining why career intelligence officers must stand up to the Bushistas.

Mysterious deaths in the middle of the hot Iraqi night?

Several GIS die in their sleep in Iraq. It might be kidney failure from breathing in too much Depleted Uranium - of which the US has used tons in its campaign against Iraq.

Everyone, by the way, mentions the death toll for Americans from Gulf War I as 150. If you include cancer deaths of American GIs that served there the toll is closer to 10,000. The suspected culprit? Depleted Uranium that Americans used on Iraqi targets.

Incidentally the DU weapons are considered a weapon of mass destruction by a UN resolution and one US expert is pushing to have use of DU weapons declared a crime against humanity. Sounds reasonable to me.

Will you be a Good American?

There were "Good Germans" who knew to keep their mouth shut while Hitler committed his atrocities.

We have a similar problem, brought to us by Hitler's "angel" 's progeny. George W(armonger) Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was convicted of trading with the enemy. Trading, in this case, is a euphemism. Shrub's grandfather profited from Jewish slave labor in the concentration camps. As "Good Americans" we are expected to smile and kowtow to this travesty of human justice. However, and this should strike fear in every American's heart, history did not treat kindly good Germans. I do not believe history will treat kindly Bush's "Good Americans." Bush's "Good American" is so at odds at what every American has believed to be true about themselves it should make you vomit.

From those wonderful folks who brought you the Florida 2000 elections

Choicepoint is in charge of alerting the feds about potential terrorists. They were also the company that illegally stripped thousands of black voters from the Florida rolls just in time for the squeaker of an election there.

That reminds me of that old computer saying, Garbage In, Gospel Out. The lunatics are not only in charge of the asylum, there are also in charge of our data warehouses.

Bush and Pentagon Desk Jockies Attempt to Balance Their Budget on Soldiers' Backs

The Bush Administration attacks American soldiers' combat pay. The Resident, AWOL from his National Guard unit during the Viet Nam war, probably still resents those who got extra money back then even though they faced real bullets while he face real beer bottles.

Military clears itself on attack against a hotel full of reporters

I am sure it was a fair and balanced investigation.

Right, Bush is tough on terrorism

Sort of the way an undrained swamp is tough on mosquitos. Maybe if first responders could afford a $2000 wienie roast with the Resident he might get some useful information.

Bush and 9/11 - What did he know and when did he know it?

John Dean, of Watergate fame, connects the dots and raises questions about how much did Bush know about the attacks on the WTC before they happened.
