Important News About John McCain
John McCain Republican President

President John McCain

The link will bring McCain's famous hug of George Bush and lead to an article about his latest scandal. It will still work because the words are on the page despite Google sophisticated algorithm.

It's Alive!
Oval Office Failure brings up Bush's biography. This is despite Google's attempts to "fix" this result.

McCain Says No New Taxes!
He apparently plans to pay for his 100 year war in Iraq by lowering taxes on the rich.

Win One For The Flipper!
John McCain was against big government before he was for big government before he was against it again.

He lashed out that either Democrat would promote big government. This from the man who voted to create the largest bureaucracy. This from the man that has voted with George Bush's looting of the Treasury every time.

Only 44 Billion Dollars Until Mission Accomplished Day
The fifth anniversary of Bush prancing around with a sock in his flight suit proclaiming "Mission Accomplished" is 81 days away. At Bush's projected rate of misspending (he always underestimates how much he actually gives Cheney's and his father's companies) that is just $44 billion dollars away.

It's The Economy, Stupid
Funny how that always seems to be the issue after 8 or 12 years of Republican rule. Maybe tax cuts to the rich and letting corporations break the law and trample workers' rights isn't the economic stimulus we are led to believe it is?

We Are Not An ATM Machine
I agree with Molly that counting dollars as a proxy for democratic support is broken. I particularly dislike how the candidates treat us like an ATM machine.

SnapShot
I was over at Moue Magazine and saw they had Snapshots on their site. I like it a lot. As a result, these links are now SnapShot enhanced ( a link bomber's dream come true) and I have added Moue Magazine to my blogroll.

If you don't like the snapshots you can turn them off by using the Options icon that appears in the top right.

That Would Be Fun!
I will give Tesla motors a potentially valuable idea for free. Electric motors are cool and quiet but as Sadly No points out that is not the sound people associate with powerful automobiles. Tesla might want to spend some of that battery power on producing "Vroom! Ah-oogah!" sounds.

Hillary in Seattle
Sen. Clinton gave a great speech. She is a lot more liberal in person than the soundbites will lead you to believe.
Hillary Clinton campaigns in Seattle at Pier 30
Sorry the photo is so grainy, I couldn't get very close due to the huge crowd. My one quibble is Hillary understands that private industry has to get out of college loans but she thinks insurance companies are an essential component of health care.

Happy Blogroll Bloodbath Day
skippy and Jon Swift thought the best way to commemorate blogroll bloodbath day was by posting to blogs with less than traffic than you. These blogs may or may not have less traffic than me so I linked to blogs that used the term "bush junta"

First off, Moonbootica, a regular commenter at Eschaton, has kitty pix at her blog.

Candide's Notebooks mentions a couple of lost causes.

Pro Libertate has an extensive post about FedGov's latest foray into agent provocateurs: Joint Terrorism Task Forces.

Mack White, who literally wrote the book The Bush Junta, posts about how Americans' increased tolerance for cruelty by officials is a sure sign of a police state.

Zaki's Corner thinks Hillary will ultimately help Republicans with her win at all costs campaigning.
