Goddamn Congress and Bipartisanship
So under the latest bipartisan flim-flam from our learned elected Representatives, healthcare reform consists of holding down the costs of the most expensive policies that corporate executives get (they might choke on an olive in their private jet and need emergency care at the nearest hospital free of charge) and reducing what Medicare covers.

Fuck that. True health care reform starts putting Senators and Representatives on Medicare. Take away their gold plated, taxpayer paid insurance in which they never get denied a claim.

Health Care System Doesn't Need Reform
It needs to be taken outside and shot. Americans can't get health care even when they have insurance because the insurance company will deny coverage. Millions of Americans can't even afford health insurance to have their claims denied. Thousands of doctors have to quit because they can't afford the malpractice insurance they pay to insurance companies. Insurance companies aren't part of the solution to America's health care crisis. They are the problem.

Sessions in Session
Do you know what I love best about the stupid questions Republican Senators are asking Sotomayor? They are manging to make her look like a very wise Latina indeed.

Weasel Word Alert
The Bush junta's illegal activities started before 9/11 but everyone used 9/11 as an excuse to ignore Bush and Cheney's wrongdoing. The latest, while still classified, is described as
...said it was related to the collection of information on suspected terrorists that was instituted after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks
This program hasn't been described as to when it started but the key words are "related to the collection" that was started after 9/11. Otherwise they would have described it more simply as "instituted after 9/11." The illegal wiretapping started before 9/11. There is no reason to assume the latest Bush junta criminal activity to come to light started after the day Bush was asleep at the national security switch.

Sen. Franken Goes To Washington
Norm Coleman, who will best be remembered for getting the short end of the stick from MP George Galloway, finally stopped preventing Minnesotans from getting their legally elected Senator.

The Fruits of Bipartisanship
Blah3 lays out the problem with Obama and the Appeasocrats trying to win Republican votes.

Reality Check
We need to stop calling Democrats and Republicans who oppose the wildly popular public option in health care moderate anything. I am not sure what to call them other than insurance company stooges.
